Three doctors from Poland – a general surgeon, a gynaecologist, and a urologist – took part in the fourth edition of the robotic surgery training course at IRCAD Strasbourg. This was the first edition to welcome Polish specialists, who joined colleagues from Tunisia and Greece to learn how to work with the KangDuo® SR2000 robotic surgical system.
The two-day course combined theoretical sessions with intensive hands-on training. The programme included dry-lab exercises, animal model training, and clinical discussions. Participants became familiar with the operation of the KangDuo® SR2000 system and practised using it in a training environment. The practical sessions complemented the theoretical component, allowing participants to apply what they had learned to specific tasks.
The first participation of Polish doctors in this training programme marks another step in introducing Polish medical teams to KangDuo® SR2000 technology. Further courses, open to surgeons from Poland, are planned for the coming weeks.
