Sagebot – manufacturer of the KangDuo® robotic system

Sagebot is a Chinese company founded in 2013, that specializes in the design and development of robotic surgical systems.

Sagebot develops their own technologies, including: robotic arms, control manipulators, surgical instruments, teleoperation systems, and surgical navigation solutions.

The company's flagship product is the KangDuo® surgical robot, designed for minimally invasive endoscopic procedures. The company creates solutions for a wide range of specialties, including urology, gynecology, general surgery, thoracic surgery, and orthopedics.

For years, Sagebot has been working to advance technology needed to perform telesurgery. In 2018, the company conducted its first experiment on an animal model using an endoscopic robot and a 5G network. Since then, the company has focused on developing technologies that enable remote surgical robotics control.
