On 11–12 May 2026, the first procedures in Europe using the KangDuo® SR2000 surgical system were performed at the Mazovia Specialist Urology Hospital in Ząbki.
Over the course of two days, four robot-assisted radical prostatectomy procedures were carried out in this hospital. The operations were performed by Dr Jan Powroźnik and Prof. Tomasz Szopiński, MD, PhD.
The procedures marked the beginning of the clinical use of the KangDuo® SR2000 system in the European market. Beryl Med, the distributor of KangDuo systems in Poland and selected Central European countries, supported the implementation process at the hospital.
